Season three is my least favourite for sure, but it’s still good tv, just not as good as the others. My personal ranking is 4, 2, 1, 3. You’ve already seen the full season by now, but one of my least favourite aspects is what they did with Hopper. S2 Hopper would never cause his daughter pain for his own selfish interests, and I don’t buy that the underlying reason is fear of losing her like he did Sarah. The Hopper of the previous seasons would have wanted Eleven to have the happiness that Sarah never got to experience and to have a good childhood leading to her adulthood. What I absolutely love about this season though (besides the Scoops Troop, who are simply iconic) is El and Max becoming besties. I’m so glad they didn’t have the two girls in the party be mean and catty to one another, and El really needs a female friend to bond with. Max does give some bad advice, but it makes sense for a girl her age, and with divorced parents. I LOVE her for being the person to encourage El to consider what SHE wants and who SHE wants to be. Since Hopper apparently can’t be that person I’m glad El has Max instead. I do wish they had developed Max’s relationship with Lucas more. They barely seem like boyfriend and girlfriend, and it’s a shame because I like them together.

Just wanted to also say and I'm not trying to be or sound rude I do this with my family aswell like when they miss something like a dialogue or a scene and facial expression by when my family looks away or closes eyes or talks over the dialogues that's all.

Can you picture Season 1 Steve having anything to do with a kid like Dustin? Let alone being best buddies with him, not caring one bit what anyone thinks? Steve Harrington is a changed man, and we are all blessed to know him.

2024-09-21 15:15:22 +0000 UTCThe sad thing about the Nancy and the work situation is that although it’s very exaggerated in the show, even 40 years later, women are still treated lesser than in many workspaces and women have to be more than perfect just to be taken seriously. It’s sad, but still a very real thing. Like when she’s talking to Jonathan in the car about how she can’t be late or make a mistake and it doesn’t matter what Jonathan does, they’ll always like him, even in 2024, that’s still something that is quite relatable.
