2024-08-19 23:52:50 +0000 UTCHopper telling Joyce "you were right," is one of the best moments (for me) in all of the show. How long has it been since anyone told her that? About anything? Let alone something so important? I just love it. And they make such a great team! And then the confrontation in the alley...big oof. It's been theorized/noted that Tommy is the one actually doing the vandalism, while Steve is passively spectating. That in no way justifies any of it, especially given the way Steve speaks to Nancy (and what he says to Jonathan? YIKES). But Steve's passive behavior/nature when it comes to his "friends," specifically, is an important nugget to take in, I think, prior to episodes 7 and 8.
