As you heard the door of the veranda opening, you realized you'd no longer go unnoticed if you didn't hide, and fast ...
However, your first choice wasn't what could be qualified as the "smartest", as only once you'd gotten into your hiding space, and looked up, did you realize you'd "hidden" under the completely transparent glass table.

As the Giant woman, who's home you'd been roaming for the past couple weeks, and her friend entered the veranda and sat down, it really didn't take much time for them to notice you through the glass.

However, neither was very shocked, as the houses owner exclaimed:
"See, told you ... I knew I had one hiding around home, I just knew it !!"
"And look, there it is"
"Seems like we caught it by surprise too"

What followed was a moment of panic for you, as you were uncertain what would become of you, after seeing countless other victims of the shrink perish beneath the cruel feet of those giants.

But she extended a foot forward, poked her toes through the gaps in the table and told you to start licking them clean.
Telling you that if you did a good enough job, she would not kill you, but instead keep you as a house pet since you weren't as tiny as most of the others, and could be somewhat useful for her.

So, without skipping a beat, you began to climb up towards her toes to do as you'd been told, hoping she wasn't lying to give you false hope.

All the whilst her friend watched in awe, seeing a tiny for the first time.
