To catch people up, I just released the last build of Password I plan on releasing for a while to Patrons, and that build will go live to the public in one month.

Now the game as it exists now is far from the fully polished work I wanted it to be, far from it. The sprites are still missing (as things in Ghosty's life still haven't properly settled), CGs still exist in sketch form, and there's a slew of issues with the narrative. These need to be fixed, deserve to be fixed, and done completely honestly to what's best for the VN as well as what's deserving for the love that fans of the characters and story give it.

In order to get there, as I said in Part 2, the full game needs to be rewritten, from the ground up. A lot of changes to the character arcs, including the characterisations of the characters need to shift enough so that the project feels a bit more consistent and concise. Obviously for those that love the characters as they are will have some concerns that their favourites will change to something completely unrecognisable but the goal is to keep them mostly intact, just shift the focus on some aspects on them so they read better.

There have been some concerns about the characters and how they're written, and why they're written, which have been heard and I'll speak about more candidly another time. The long and short of it is that the starting point of some of these characters were based on real people to start with, with a couple characters in particular having more taken from real life then they should have. This is just a bad thing all around for a multiple of reasons and I'll give it the space it needs to properly explain where things went wrong there in the writing.

It's not all doom and gloom, I think that with a break from working so closely on these characters and world will only mean the next go around will be that much better. But it will be a long time before that's something I should rightly tackle. So whenever Password comes back, in whatever new form, should be fresh and enjoyable for those to give it a second go. Hopefully.

In case it was missed, or you're not on the server, this is a preview of TCM, the thing I'll be working on for the foreseeable future. There's still a little bit left to integrate given it's all built up from scratch in Unity, but for a first build I think what I've got is solid. I've been a lot more active about posting stuff on the Discord about it as things get done or I get the time to add a new little thing in, so if you haven't seen that do stop by and check it out!

Plushies are still coming. Dave is coming, hopefully soon according to PPP. It'll mean that chances are looking good that we might see pre-orders for Tyson by the end of the year but I'll keep people posted about that as I know more.

Same with maybe another AMA or more indepth analysis post-mortem style about where PW is at from feedback and such, but that'll depend on what format people find is best for them to engage with. Let me know either on here or the Discord so I can adjust!
