As I said on the last build, this one is a lot of housekeeping. Essentially, I went back through from the beginning and for the most part rewrote everything that needed tightening up, or that otherwise was maybe a bit too wordy. Additionally there are a couple new scenes in there too just to round out things.
For the most part, it was to give a couple people a little more screen time early and a couple others less (I'm looking at you Tyson).
I think the biggest change to make note of is that the name "Dave" is now canonised moving forward as his name. This is what was requested as per feedback and the want for him to be solidly his own character. Legacy saves will still work as intended, but if you start a new game from this build on, your name will be locked to Dave.
What's missing in this build?
I wanted to get some more old CGs polished up but with the rush of the holidays and to a lesser extent the bushfires I just didn't have the time. Along with this is the fact that while it may look like the Oz question form hasn't been touched in a while, I do look at it and hope to get more of those questions into the next build. That, along with a new feedback form.
Grizz's Shoutout Corner!
Once again Boar and Rem did testing on this one for me. While it was a very last minute thing on my part, they caught a few bugs that stopped the game from working entirely. As far as prioritising what to address in particular, that goes to Timber again for providing me his thoughts in document form!
Plan for next build!
Are you ready? I'm sure not. Day 10 is when things kick of proper, when permadeaths can happen and when we get the 'real game' underway. If the poll is anything to go by, we're looking at Tyson and Dean as the first two up. Once one is done the others will slot nicely into place, so hopefully it'll only take a couple months to get to day 11.

EDIT: Apparently something broke on Day 7 to stop progression, I've now patched it and it should work.
EDIT2: Fixed some spelling plus a indentation error making a route specific dialogue line show up when it shouldn't be.
EDIT3: Another minor but game breaking thing came up. This version should fix it if you run into any issues on day 4 or 7.

2020-01-16 09:48:53 +0000 UTCWell Grizz, I am impressed in how much rework you putted in this update. I am doing Dean’s route and there are a lot of changes. The dialog in most of the earlier days changed even if some of the option dialogs are kept. Plus, you added more animations to the sprites so now the game has movement effects. I love to see Benson’s sprites in the beginning of the game too. I liked that Dave seems to be a little less naïve and innocent and maybe his behavior is more according to his age. Plus, you are using the CGs from the last update in the earlier days.

2020-01-15 13:28:42 +0000 UTCI just ran through the PC version and it worked fine from a new save. When I patched it, I manually flagged the variables to reset right before that menu choice, so assuming you're using the new version it should be fine if you progress the script normally. Given the builds were made at the same time, there should be no discrepancy between PC and MAC but as I only run PC, I have no means of checking it myself.

2020-01-15 06:09:19 +0000 UTCI still have issues with day 7 on mac tho. If i was playing Dean's route, i wouldn't be able to ask Dean. And if i was on Tyson's route, i wouldn't be able to ask Tyson either. So i couldn't progress the day onwards
