AW YAY thank you so much, I'm glad to hear it works! And a gift idea for a 5 year old ... if she likes comics, Dog Man is a classic go-to even if she's not at the reading level yet... our friend John also has a comic series with the same vibes called InvestiGators (about alligators who solve mysteries). We have a bunch of friends who do comics for Graphix in the middle-reader space which would probably be fine for a 5-year old if someone wanted to read it with her! Raina Telgemeier and Gale Galligan's books are probably a bit more challenging to read but not inappropriate! I hope that helps a bit!
