Added 2024-10-25 21:52:48 +0000 UTCWell, as I mentioned last week, my writing speed always takes a hit when there's a release I need to promote, which was obvious this week when I only got 6 chapters done. Now that I've done all my promotion for the Undisguised Healer audiobook, things should go largely back to normal next week.
Three things are coming up for me next week, however. The first is on Sunday, which is a piano recital for my daughter that will likely cut into any of my work time. The second thing is on Thursday (Halloween), as I have a few things that need to be done for Halloween that will likely cut my writing time in half. And finally, the third event is on Friday, November 1, where I will be taking down the Halloween decorations and putting them away, as I like to get that done as soon as possible. I probably won't get any chapters out on Sunday, and perhaps only 1 on Thursday and Friday, but Monday through Wednesday I expect to have around 2 chapters written per day.
Plans for next week:
Sunday: Piano recital, writing
Monday-Wednesday: Writing
Thursday-Friday: Halloween prep/takedown, writing

If it doesn't cut into your writing time to much, I'd love to read a little about how you do / undertake promoting your books and audio books. Is it a case of posting on websites, concocting a zany tik tok etc ?
