DietPi web dashboard: Test and suggest features
Added 2021-11-07 20:01:47 +0000 UTCWe are proud to announce an own web interface to monitor and manage your DietPi system from your favourite web browser. @ravenclaw900 did some Rust programming magic to make this possible, a very effective tool with minimal RAM usage, listening by default on TCP port 8088: https://github.com/ravenclaw900/DietPi-Dashboard
It is clearly in beta stage, hence we do not recommend it for common production yet.
However, we are testing, fixing and extending the functionalities constantly and want to provide our Patrons the possibility to suggest features with higher priority.
You can test it by applying to the current DietPi beta v7.8: https://github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/issues/4936
You can also manually download or compile and run it from console: https://github.com/ravenclaw900/DietPi-Dashboard#installation
A password protection will btw be added as very next feature, mandatory especially when running DietPi not behind a NAT.
Please give it a try and provide feedback and suggestions below. Of course you can also open a feature request at the GitHub repository directly.
Best regards,
Your DietPi project team

2022-08-03 22:46:06 +0000 UTCI am a first time user of DietPi. Tried it on RockPiS. Saying it "I was completely blown away" with installation and user experience is an under statement! I am an average guy in embedded space ( https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/embedded-brain-dump-ananda-kammampati) . Hoping to learn and hoping to contribute whatever little I can with the community.
