Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking is out now!

hello folks and friends.

it's time to grab your torches and start stocking up on salt: Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking is now live and you can currently pick up the game on sale for $4.79 USD!

to celebrate, some of us may have gotten a bit into character with our monks. a.. monksona if you will. or even if you won't, really.

mine happens to be named Peter the Potatoless. as I mentioned on Bluesky, Peter the Potatoless is a Friend of Rats. he is accompanied by his rat-friend Ewan, who is not dead, but pretends to be so they can both take on enemies defensively with whimsy and abandon. it's a bit of "oops didn't see you there" energy.

coming along for the ride-that-isn't-my-excuse-to-get-everyone-to-roleplay-with-me, rose from the Discord offered up the following monksona premise:

"please allow me to introduce my totally not a self-insert, brother bartholomew. if there is a trap you can guarantee he is going to step in it. even those spikes that are clearly visible protruding from the floor? he's so conscious of not stepping on them that he's stumbling and falling on them anyway. only by the grace of god is he still alive. also he has a beard. massive beard. probably has caught on fire at some point."

naturally, Brother Bartholomew was mysteriously born. I couldn't tell you how. my tablet pen just started moving as I read the words. super weird. I don't think that should happen.

as for the game itself, well, it's our first ever multiplayer game and we're really excited to continue updating it over the next few months! we've got so many cool ideas in store to share with you and we'll be posting patch notes routinely as we update, so I encourage you to follow along whether it's on Steam, in the Discord, or wherever you get these lil notifications.
