Wow

TLDR: Check out the Collections tab! (to find all videos not released on youtube)

Hello everyone!

After the last video, where I spoke about being laid off due to soulless corporations being capitalist and corporate, the support has been heartwarming! I don't know what to say! I'm super thankful, and I do believe that the odds are in my favour that it's all going to work out. I don't usually post when I don't also have a video to share, but waking up to an inbox overflowing with new subscriptions, I just had to do something!

My next YouTube series (as voted on by the OG patrons a while ago) is going to be Warptorio2 (which beat out Rampant 65% to 35%), and, not wanting to do some sort of general/standard playthrough, I have been doing a lot of development and preparation for it over the last months, getting to know the ins and outs of the mod, and ultimately coming up with the final idea for the run: Trying to beat Warptorio in the least number of warps possible (and some cool endgame goals). This included doing a final test run: a complete, unedited playthrough putting the strategies I developed to the test, and I recorded and uploaded the full run to Patreon.

It was recently pointed out to me (thanks Kevin!) that it was hard to find back the relevant posts, so if you look under the "Collections" tab, you'll now find all my older posts which contain video material not released/intended for Youtube. Not only the aforementioned Warptorio test run, but ALL of the one-off videos I have uploaded to patreon over the last year or 2, so even if you've been here for a while, you may still find something new in there :)

Anyway, today I have started work on shaping the first Warptorio video, and writing parts of the script. The first one of a series is always quite hard to develop: the "stakes" are higher, it has to be as good as it can be, as the first episode of a series is more likely to be someone's first impression of my channel and video style, and also a new series in general requires some sort of introduction before diving in the actual game, especially since the concept is akin to a more speedrunny-style of gameplay, leaving less time to point things out during the game than usual. Anyway, I've not fully decided yet on this series' final form, but often the best way to tackle a complex job which you don't even know how to start on, is to just start somewhere, and see if it works out/leads to something, and go from there!

Thanks everyone!

Michael
