Alpha Catalog coming this weekend
Added 2025-02-28 21:30:53 +0000 UTCHey all, just wanted to let you know, the alpha version of the catalog is going to release over the weekend. It should have released today, but I got roped into a last minute business trip that prevented me from doing the release today.
The code works and is verified. First release will be just a tool for finding parts, and the parts in the system thus far are just dungeon stone. That being said, I'm excited about what's coming out, as I think it's a really great way to explore parts. It also has stl downloading, though the filenames are just ids. I'll fix that asap, but can't do it for security reasons (CORS for those of you that are in the know) until after I've got the alpha up.
In March, we'll hopefully be adding more parts and the ability to do what I call "Blueprints", which is getting a recipe for a finalized tile, and being able to search and download the individual parts needed to build a tile with the options you want.
