Voting
Added 2025-02-10 19:51:49 +0000 UTCI skipped a few months on voting because the software project for the catalog is a huge lift, so we won't be seeing a new set that we're working on for a while.
I'm taking this time to fill in lots of little problems and address things that make managing openforge harder.
One thing that I've done, and some of you have noticed, is I've pivoted over entirely to S2W as how we do wall on tile moving forward. There are still a number of older wall on tile objects out there, and some will create some interesting s2w problems, but I'm, committed to the new more unified system. Because of this, the voting has also been somewhat simplified.
Patrons can of course always request access to OpenForge Deprecated to get and older version of any tile they want.
Also, this month, I've put in a question about multi material printing (like the Bambu AMS, or tool changers). I'm curious how many people are printing tiles and using them without additional changes (like painting). Lemme know if you want multicolor prints or not. Of course that will come at the cost of other work, so it's always a tradeoff. I'll close voting at the end of the month.
