It's been a long time coming, and we're now starting Cut-Stone Separate Wall Primary Walls (And Floors). Mostly this is updates with some added parts, but I'm also creating some new patterns here that will be ported back to Dungeon Stone (Don't worry, the updates are simple, so I'll add them along the way as I implement the same thing for cut-stone).
I re-did the s2w work for cut-stone so that you can make wall on tile tiles that look fairly seamless.
I added a new connection system for walls and columns specifically to make aligning wall on tile easier. You are free to use openlock or dragonlock (though both become a problem for low corners, that's what the new half clip that you should really glue is for). The new system is filament. There's a version of the corner walls and column that has holes designed for sliding in 1.75mm filament. This isn't a clipping system, it's a way to align the tiles before gluing.
Cut-Stone didn't have and D (3") walls, those have been added
All the floors have been redone. The cut stone that went right up to the edge just isn't great, as it makes it easy to see the distinct tiles because the gap is smaller between tiles than it is between squares on a tile, so I redid all the floors (except the S2W floors from last month, which follow the new pattern
Dragonlock bays have been added everywhere they can work.
Following this, I'm going to be deprecating the wall on tile version of the release that come out in a month in favor of s2w. I have not done it yet with the basic floor/corner because I want to write documentation to drop into the wall on tile folder first. Moving forward as I do this, all new releases will be following the pattern of a separate wall that can also be re-used to glue on a wall on tile base to achieve more with fewer pieces. I'm doing this both for simplicity, but also to remove some of the massive duplicative work so we can get more designs out instead of having to make more subtle variations of the same part. The old wall on tile stull will be kept around, I'll just be putting it into OpenForgeDeprecated as I roll out superseding parts.
