Dungeon Stone Modular Corners

Having done custom corners for Cut Stone I really felt like Dungeon Stone needed the same treatment.  This set offers the ability to create a 2x2 corner with options for th left and right of wall, arched window and arched door.  In the future as we add in more doors, windows, arrow slits and other variety, the corners can be built using those as well.

Grab the files on Thingiverse and let us know what you think in the comments.

The vote for this month was to do scatter, with the top being a Necromancer's Lair.  I'm working on that, but I want that to be really cool, so it may slip into next month while I build the pieces for it.

Triplex/Openlock is the clip system from printable scenery. They keep the clip and sort of a general structure of how their system works here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1833963

How is the triplex system designed to go together? Are there clips in a file somewhere I can’t find?

I really like these by the way

Me too

I was thinking nubs on the pillar and walls, but not on the bottom.

Right on. I do pillar->wall->wall then floor and wall set up to base. I use a combination of gel and thin CA glues. Hadn't thought about using clamps, just accelerant. Nubs I think would be great, but wouldn't it detract from the modularity of the set? Maybe if the nubs were incorporated into the design to where if used stand alone it wouldn't look out of place?

Dante Nava

fair point. Maybe I need some alignment nubs or something. I normally glue the pillar to one wall, then that to the base, and the other wall after. Also, I use small spring clamps for all my gluing. I should probably add those to my gear suggestions. I use something like this: https://amzn.to/2KIU1Ow Use the bigger ones to hold a wall to the base, the smaller ones can clamp a floor to a base, or a wall with a window or door to a base or to the pillar.

Is there a convenient way of assembling the corners on to a magnetic base? I've been having a heck of a time with the Towne corners and it's fine, just time consuming to get posts and walls to stick together well and stay properly aligned. Thanks
