Tudor rebuild progress
Added 2019-02-08 19:41:39 +0000 UTCSo I've started on the tudor rebuild process. First order of business was to create a new process for making wood planks. This is my first cut. Left is a square from the existing tudor tiles. Right is my first cut at a new wood style.
What do you all think?

i like the new approach a lot. I'm going to reprint the Tudor set eventually.

2019-02-18 15:50:56 +0000 UTCI'm of two minds on this. My mind and that of my printers. I think think the new doesn't look as realistic as the old. Texture-wise, nobody I've seen does rough wood as well as you. But my printers HATED it. My printers think these look like the best thing since sliced bread!

2019-02-08 20:24:33 +0000 UTCHighly approve of the new style. I find that styles with "deeper grooves" and grain that is more pronounced stand-up better to printing and then painting afterwards.
