Dungeon Stone Curved Doors

We're inching closer to completion of the base set of Dungeon Stone.  This release, we have arched doors for curved tiles.  We also tossed in some curved floors so that you can do holes like the center of the picture.  A surprisingly large number of dungeons have that kind of feature, and without railings no less.  Someone should really call OSHA.

We expect one more release of dungeon stone curved before we move on.  That will be to give you options for walls perpendicular to the curve for these large 16 and 20 inch curved layouts.  Should help to make things like wizard's towers with more than just one big internal room.

Doors are kind of a bear to create because of the 25mm and wyloch options can't just be scaled versions of the inch sizes, so each doorway had to be created 3 times for each scale.
As per usual, patrons can find the other sizes in the dropbox.

Grab the doors and floors on Thingiverse and let us know what you think in the comments!

Dungeon Stone Curved Doors

Comments

I've gotten enough requests for it that I'm considering adding it to the queue. My initial thought was the rooms are so large that wall on tile doesn't cost much realestate, so initially it didn't seem super valuable. I also try to stick to the tile shapes printable scenery supports, but given that I now support infinitylock and dragonbite, maybe I should reconsider that stance.

Awesome addition to the set! Any chance you will also design these odd shapes in the openlock style (with separate walls)?

As for if cut stone is being worked on, yes, but I have been trying use dungeon stone to define the borders of what a set should have so I can go back to the other sets and update them.

This is the first set I've done curved doors for. Cut stone is still a possibility in the future, but this is the first release with curved doors for any set.

Is the cut stone stuff still being worked on? I'm looking for some curved doors for it but can't find them if they already exist.

Dan Warden

True, it does

The center cries out for a grand spiral staircase...
