Secret Doors!

Roll a perception check. You find a secret door!

This set offers walls that can spin. Next to a floor tile, it's pretty darn hard to tell that this wall turns. Can be a great way to spring a surprise on your players!

This release has a full raft of options.  First off we have OpenLOCK A walls, in both full height and half height format.  For OpenForge 2, we have a number of firsts.  This set is the first to start the transition from 25mm basis to inch basis (based on the feedback from the poll).  This release does also include 25mm versions, because we want to make this transition as easy as we can for everyone.  Finally, this release is also the first dungeon stone openforge release to offer half-height walls.

The secret doors come in magnetic or registration bump versions.  We strongly recommend the magnetic, as that really keeps the wall from moving and tipping off your players.  You can also have the polarities opposite on the two sides so that the wall can only attach in the one way where the texture properly matches.

Grab the OpenForge and OpenLOCK files on Thingiverse and let us know what you think in the comments!

I would prefer to design for metric, but I have yet to find a good US supplier that sells in metric increments.

they are designed for 1/8" x 3/32" magnets. This is a US supplier: <a href="https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D203" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D203</a>

What kind of magnets would fit? It looks like 3mm flat magnets might fit.

.4 mm per square, yep. Over the short run, it doesn't make much difference, but in a big scene with a lot of tiles, it adds up. The problem is that literally every other tile out there is inch based, so lots of people are frustrated that OpenForge doesn't match well with other tiles. All that said, this release has both 25mm and inch, and as a patron, I'm working to make sure that you have access to 25mm, so if you don't want to change, you won't have to. I'm just changing the default that non patrons see on thingiverse.

I am still a little confused with the 25mm verses 1 inch. Does that really mean that the 1 inch tiles are .4mm larger? I originally stuck with millimeters since well, the rest of the world uses it. I don't won't to have to re-print out everything ...
