May Update (Video progress + Rewards)

 Hey everyone! Apologies again for the silence this month, classic case of me doing a lot to try and release something before the month is out and instead delaying everything else in the process, so we’ll go through what’s up bit by bit.

 Real talk- Tears of the Kingdom sucked me in and took WAY more of my time than I planned, even knowing it was going to be a fairly big title. Really wanted to make sure I’d seen all the major events and quests on offer before I committed to writing, and I managed to do that in about 2 weeks, but only just got the audio edited and into the edit bay on Monday. It’s not, thankfully, that long a video compared to the first, the script only being an extra 4 pages, but it’s going to be about combing through a lot of footage and making sure I get the broadest possible window of that experience in video form and making any adjustments where I feel necessary. At the moment it’s a fairly straightforward process to make, about 50 percent of it complete already, so I think you’ll be seeing it fairly soon.

 Other business is still ongoing- The Frasier video is being worked on, that did get pushed back a little but it’s in good shape. I did have a little go at the Birthday related video, though I’m not sure when that will release, and a lot of time has been going into the final episode of my Marvel project while I’m feeling the burn to finish it, so a lot of juggling has been going on to try and keep everything moving.

 However what I really didn’t meant to fall off was my output on Patreon only content which I actually prepped before I left for home, and am in the process of putting back on its feet now. A new commentary on my incredibly old Cortex N Chums series will be available for ASM patrons, in a separate post I’ll make after this one, along with the original version in a B-Vault release. I had some issues with copyright and wanted to deal with that in case it ever became publicly viewed in the future, but that hasn’t happened so I’ll settle for this as it is. A Sly Trilogy commentary for the first video should be popping up next.

 The Behind the scenes videos are undergoing a slight reconsideration- I still have some for the Jak vid to release as well as the upcoming big Frasier vid, but I’m deciding whether or not I want to release them as a full unit or as separate videos as I build up to the project. I’m going to be putting them all in the timeline real soon to figure it out, just want to make sure the rewards for ushers are properly fulfilled, especially when there aren’t as many timeline tours coming out until big videos are complete. I think, to compensate, I’ll give Ushers access to the vault videos and let the commentaries stay as part of the ASM rewards- to my mind that seems like a fair amount of more frequently released rewards between each tier. If you guys have any thoughts on that, don’t hesitate to let me know!
