Ok: Here is my question, you have a great story line going, and I don't mean to question your plot, but I see a lot of stories where "Kills in a most unpleasant way, to the point of insanity" Have you ever considered something... NOT making the protagonist so desperate that they go for the long shot (and win)? At least a plan for a demise that is pleasant for the antagonist without it being brutally painful? You know... a soft seduction.... Clem thinking this is her lover... going weak and passing out before her plans to "finish her" Just asking :)

2020-08-02 13:31:46 +0000 UTCwell, during the trial, there were a lot of people watching. now, no one sees or hears anything they say to each other. makes sense for him to behave differently. imagine you were some sort of plot-master with some very grand and convoluted schemes. i bet you'd also be very very careful to not let certain information end up in the wrong heads. so, when there's a lot of people listening you make sure that no one hears anything that could possibly lead to them figuring something out.
