Welcome back to the schedule! I’ll start looking for them on Sunday.
Flowers to the cast again, as always…and I bet you will have even more glowing things to say about Britt Lower and Zach Cherry in the coming weeks. And of course, Tramell Tillman. In the first season, his character was supposed to be a rather bit part, but reportedly, his audition line from the first episode of “You were my favorite office friendship” made them grow his part in the first season, but in this season…he is absolutely unleashed. Be prepared, be VERY prepared.
There were two things in this episode you missed, but I’ll only point out one specifically because it will absolutely inform you about this season: When Irv is in the phone booth, you can (barely) hear what he is saying. It’s made very clear in the subtitles, and it’s worth going back and watching. The other thing you missed…well, I’ll put it in the comments when it’s worth noting…but you missed it twice.
I love how both seasons open with very clear two-episode arcs. In the first season, the opening of the second episode starts off with Helly’s outie experience (and yes, we did get to see her outie there, in her interactions with Milchick, non-videoed), and it re-informs our perspective on her first day of an innie experience. This season…literally Episode 1 is all Innie, and Episode 2 is all Outie!
I can’t wait for you to hit the big episodes this season. And unlike last season, where the cliffhangers had you ready for something big, you won’t see this season’s big episodes coming. You’ll be gobsmacked by a Mac Truck when the episodes start and at least three “What the Fuck”s will be heard…possibly each time it happens. It’s going to be awesome…for us watching.
