The sense of eldritch dread I felt from the opening at the table, to the hallway shot (where some of the corners and hallways didn't make sense physically/spatially), and then at the promotion meeting, was palpable. It was so distinctly unnerving. The foodless dinner scene was also really awkward and unsettling, and the physical acting was exceptional. There's a lot of meat on the bones of that scene, ironically. Loving the questions and commentary in the recap!
