Don't know if you missed it but after writing the song Brook is still the one that had to fight the Longarm Tribe. The people of Lazy Bones were energized by the song but they couldn't follow through and needed to be saved by Brook in the end.

All the three admirals are named after a colour and an animal: Akainu = Red Dog, Kizaru = Yellow Monkey, Aokiji = Blue Pheasant (it's a reference to the story of Momotaro and his three animal friends)
