The reason there was Dance Powder in Alabasta is because Crocodile imported it to frame Cobra. Even if he knew about a legal means, Crocodile wouldn't have used it. Though also seems like Weatheria might not be willing to sell their tech, so I guess they just haven't been near Alabasta for a while. I've got tons of issues with Toei's Sanji stuff... but uh, it never occurred to me that the flower was sexual. I thought the flower blooming was just supposed be him "realizing" that he's a "woman." :X

2025-07-06 20:52:24 +0000 UTCYa Toei is responsible for exactly how Kamabaka kingdom played out, but the framework is still Oda. He is still getting his footing there. Its up to you to decide how you feel about it. I once saw someone saying Oda's presentation of queer people as "He seems to think queer people are freaks, but he also appears to think that being a freak is awesome" and I can't help but agree with that.
