here's some interesting parallels for you: during the second episode, dimple gets two very noticeable injuries while fighting to protect shigeo. one is a large gash on his back, that looks almost identical to the one reigen got while protecting mob in season 1. the other is his missing left arm; the same arm mob lost while protecting dimple during his fight in that girl's mind in season 2 and, well, one thing that gets brought up in episode 4, is how dimple would have people try to talk sense into shigeo, and would very specifically have them point their finger at him while doing so. it seems random until you realize there is exactly one character who points at people when he wants others to take his words seriously: shigeo himself. he started doing this in late season 2, and we see him do it to serizawa, toichiro, and to god dimple

2025-07-02 01:51:19 +0000 UTCMob Psycho 100 does fully fleshed out side characters I think better than anything else. Most other shows would have cut it off at Mob convincing Dimple to change and it all just kind of works out. This show not only lets Dimple sit in the consequences of his choices but forces him to face the fallout alone.
