Inference and media literacy are there to help you fill in the blanks; there's a reason Oda mentioned it happening every year at the exact same time the Aqua Laguna happens every year, and put long ring long land and water 7 one right after the other. It's subtle worldbuilding, but it's there.

2024-10-02 06:42:18 +0000 UTCI love how Nami's faith in Luffy has already progressed after Skypiea. Against Enel she was so terrified, but Luffy showed her that she can rely on him. And now they are up against a so much more dangerous enemy and not just anybody but the literal World Government. But still, Nami isn't scared this time. She is doing everything to get the rescue started. She knows how to talk to Luffy, so he can get out of this situation himself. I just love her faith in Luffy even though she's seen how Luffy had lost against CP9. She knows how much stronger he can be when a friend is in danger.
