al is another isekai'd person too just like subaru. idk if u knew that but this was something was supposed to be in season 2 but controversially was revealed in a rezero side special. he also has some crazy abilities too that i wont spoil but u could look em up.

Reinhardt wanted to help stop Theresia from fighting, so he called out to the divine blessing of the sword saint, because of what he represents to the world (like Beatrice said the definition of different) the divine blessing left her when she was on the battlefield and went to him. So when Whilhelm and Heinkel found out they blamed him.
