soul reapers free hollows and bring them back into the cycle of reincarnation and rebirth, but quincys outright destroy hollows, destroy enough hollows and the balance of the world gat upset and u have the soul society and real world clashing together. but it also fair that the quincy destroy hollows because they have no antibodies against hollow spiritual pressure once infected the cant become visored the straight up get their souls destroyed, all it is is for survival. kaien look like ichigo because ichigo dad and kaien are from the same clan and ichogos dad is kaien uncle
