These episodes are one of the main reasons why DBZ Kai is so much better than the Z dub. Not only is the voice acting in DBZ dub horrible, they also change the dialogue and script from the manga and sub A LOT which resulted in Goku's character and some other plot points being almost completely different. For example in the Z dub Goku doesn't say "I am the warrior you've heard in the legends" etc but "I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you!". That's such a corny speech that completely ruins and changes Goku's character
