Total guess but, my thought is they will do the first movie up to the point in the forest of death when sasuke gets the curse mark. Thereby, introducing Orochimaru. That means speed running learning multi shadow clone, kakashi training, and land of waves. I think you guys made a good point with establishing the big bad. Not saying I want that, but these studios know people like us will go see it. They are always trying to do like you said, marvel movies made people who weren’t into comics care about marvel.
