Shelter v38's Final Devlog (with video)

Awoo!

We're in the final ten days of May and I still have one final duel to illustrate, so I thought I'd least show you some of the progress I've made, in case I still don't manage to release the build by the end of the month. This is an update with so much time, work, assets, experimentation and soul put into it I would ideally cut it in half and release it in parts, but I promised that the build v38 would wrap up Max's story and that's what you're gonna get.

Those little clips I'm sharing are some of the nicer little bits I'm happy with that are NOT spoilery. There are many moments in this update that I'm much more proud of, one of them being probably my favorite tearjerker scene. I hope you'll be filled with good boy emotions playing this update too.

I sure have been pretty happy and inspired all this month, in a huge part thanks to the work we did on this update's new battle theme with Hughhhh ( https://x.com/hughhhhdraws ). To me it's hecking perfect. I hope Patreon allows adding audio files in posts like these. The full composition is two and a half minutes long and goes through an amazing flow of emotions!

Now I have to just illustrate the final, biggest duel, and after that I'll be able to code the audio and wrap everything up. Please bear with me. I'll try to get it ready for you as soon as I can.
