Cooper - new side dog breed poll!

When Teak (their strongest fighter) separated from the group due to a stupid fight and a monster attacked the remaining dogs, Cooper fought bravely to protect his comrades. During that fight he sustained deep wounds and lost a half of his tail. Right now he's hospitalized and recovering.
I'd like to draw him because he's going to play a small part in Thistle's and Teak's incoming scenes. He probably won't have as well developed sprite sets as the other dogs just yet. Maybe in the end I'll show him only in a portrait format for now, but I still want to visualize him somehow. Please help me decide on his breed :)
Cooper is a guy in his early 40s. He's extremely loyal, serious and with a great sense of duty. A good boy of strict military discipline!
