This episode just shows kind of from the pudding that he’s still just a kid who wants to eat a lot of sweets, looking at those video games he just wanted to play them, and not being able to off his dad when he thought he was turned. Carl is in his angsty era cranked up 1000% because of trauma.

He just gives obnoxious vibes all the time as if he can do everything by himself showing no respect to his father or maybe I just misunderstand his character, you know being alone, not having anyone else close to him that's around his age? He is actually a well-written character (for the most part :P). It is the point that he is messy and all over the place as we explore his coming of age in a broken world. Also, consider that he thinks his sister and everyone else at the prison are probably dead. He's lashing out.

2025-09-09 11:46:23 +0000 UTCI think Carl was so annoying in season 2 but season 3 he was locked in taking no prisoners and even had to explain to Rick why he’s not taking any chances, I think carls got the right mindset for this world and in season 4 Rick and Hershel were trying to teach him not to think that way and be more peaceful basically which led to the governor ruining their day
