Thank you for letting me know of these. For akeru, akemasu is correct. I've created two separate lessons for 付ける and つける in N5 now. https://jlptsensei.com/learn-japanese-vocabulary/%e3%81%a4%e3%81%91%e3%82%8b-tsukeru-meaning/ https://jlptsensei.com/learn-japanese-vocabulary/%e4%bb%98%e3%81%91%e3%82%8b-tsukeru-meaning/ This are updated in the Verbs List PDF download now and I will update the ebook in the next version update.

I think I something missing. The verb akeru does not have the masu form, it just says akeru again. Is this an ichidan verb? I might have found another error. For tsukeru it says to turn on but the wrong kanji is used. I think it’s supposed to be 点ける、not 付ける. Doesn’t 付ける mean to attach?

Hi Emile, thank you for your support! Our website and books are intended to be more of a supplementary reference to explain grammar points and not a primary resource for studying Japanese. The lessons are ordered only by JLPT level and alphabetical order, making it easier to reference. If you are studying for a specific JLPT exam, then you can use our lists as a checklist to make sure you reviewed most of the main grammar points.

I like your site, and am grateful for the resource. But one thing I am wondering is where to start/method? Is it a matter of remembering all the examples until I can interchange them, or its this to be supplemented with other material (classes or the books you mention?)

It wasn't added because there wasn't enough space and I didn't think it was essential. Past negative is very easy to conjugate, just replace ない with なかった

Christopher Bogedin

The past negative conjugation is not included in the table? is it missing or not intended to be there?

I'm really glad to hear that! :) You're welcome!

So easy to understand and work through. Now I need to get to a printer so I can work in like a workbook. Thank you so much Sensei!

Thanks for letting me know! I was trying to keep it shorter since it includes the Japanese and English titles at the top.

The verb list is the only one whose title does not begin with "JLPT"
