(IMPORTANT) The future of Brass' Patreon
Added 2023-01-15 17:33:26 +0000 UTCI started this Patreon a couple of years ago with the hope of it becoming a form of tip jar, a light form of income to support my main work as a commissions artist and allow myself a bit more free time to work on personal projects. However, with the relatively small return I get from it, lately it feels like maintaining it with a monthly pic just adds to my usual workload instead.
I've been thinking about it long and hard, and the solutions I've come up with for this are A) Bumping up the monthly subscription fee to $3-$5, or B) Closing up and focusing on my normal work instead.
I would like to hear you guys' opinion on this. For now, I will have a pic for this month prepared for you in time, but come next month I have to make a decision moving forwards. Either way, new payments will be paused for the time being.

On a personal level I don’t mind a price bump. I love your work and want to help support you. That said, if it’s truly more trouble than you feel it’s worth then I totally get it if you decide to close it down. Ultimately the important thing here is to make the decision that you’re most at peace with. Your audience isn’t going away one way or the other.
