New supporter benefit ideas

Although it has always been planned to be a feature that will be available to all players, it had been a supporter-only test feature for a long time. This means there are now fewer available benefits for supporters. We are going to be looking into adding new supporter benefits for future game updates, with priority on benefits that can't be added to all players, but can be added to a limited amount of players.

It would have its own tab beside the Whisper tab! This would be super useful for friend groups being in a Party, to talk to each other without having to speak in whispers one at a time individually, you know?

2025-02-12 07:43:45 +0000 UTCFor supporter only I think some of the dances like the hop, or even some supporter only manes/tails or clothes, Or even 'wings' like balloons or something; like pinkiepie uses to get around. so if we have an idea for an earth bound pony to fly but don't have the patience to try to make the wings blend in to the body or clothes we can still have accurate ponies(especially the pinkiepies on the server lol) And a side idea for character idea options in general would be to have some 'disabled' pony options like the wheelchair supports from the show or bionic limbs that don't require you have to try to make common limbs look bionic(if that's not too hard just throwing stuff to the wind rn)

2025-01-15 00:06:37 +0000 UTCI think a large and important thing people would desire (especially a lot of the supporters on the Adult server) is greater post length; while there are concerns of chat flooding by supporters, this is already pretty risky as it takes a single support ticket to get hit with the forever-mute. Even at tier four; I /constantly/ cap out the text limit just in regular conversation and RP; yet alone anything detailed. Granted; it's a minor thing that's just nice to have, but boosting it up (especially for T4, as they tend to be making the largest maps anyway, thus hosting larger roleplays on avg) could be an idea. Another idea is to do the same thing as was done with the minimap; but for a new feature. Toggleable. Character. Inspect. We already have large, close-up views of ponies built into the character editor; and while sufficient to display an enlarged headshot in the top left while hovering someone... I think people who make complex skins (especially cosplays) would enjoy being able to selectively toggle allowing other players to access a restricted view similar to character creation (does not show parts/layering/etc, but does allow for people to do a more in-depth show-off of design)

Honestly, giving the crystals every colour available on-game would be great, considering most items now have different shades and all. While on the topic of crystals, maybe we could have hanging branches.. without any cookies or crystals attached. Another idea would be the ability to sprint (And perhaps making it have a "stamina" bar feature as well—to avoid any sprint-spam), customizable body type—and size—along with layering for hair, accessories, and clothing. While on the topic of clothing, I've noticed we quite lack different outfits. Perhaps a turtleneck option, a way to have unzipped jackets (Or have a jacket feature entirely), and maybe oversized clothes as well. More "puffy-like" fabric, maybe. One last idea would be something (In the island map) that's a hybrid of shovels and brooms. A feature that allows you to remove everything in a selected area (Preferably per floor) quickly, without having to painstakingly remove every item individually. These are my suggestions. That is all I have to think of.

Something like locking functionality of the editor behind a paywall could create animosity or a divide between Patreon and non-Patreon users. Something like higher limits would be nice, for things that hasn't already had increased limits, like the action bar.

I also think a sprint option like ashes town has would be really nice. plus the dance emotes from the event servers! those are already fully fleshed out so i think those could be the easiest/quickest thing to implement at this time.

(Would probably look something like 25% max intensity for tier1, 100% max intensity for t4.)

2024-12-29 15:56:57 +0000 UTCRealistically, I could see already existing, but hidden or unimplemented content being made available to supporters, such as the dances, applauds, etc. that are only available in Events servers. Larger Private Islands, new larger house types, and so on. Personally, I would love to see more interactive options between players, being able to play games like chess or checkers in-game would be amazing, and making it available to supporters first (But playable by everyone) would be a good way to bug-test. Speaking of, working on larger projects for the game, LIKE mini-games for collectibles, LIKE different options for the Private Island (Floating island for example) and giving supporter's limited access on the public servers would be amazing for stress-testing and bug testing. This is one of the many reasons why I've stopped my support for the new year...
