Ren'Py Galleries Tutorial PDF - First three sections FREE to read
Added 2024-06-10 11:36:00 +0000 UTCFor those of you who are free members, I thought I'd let you know about the new gallery PDF tutorial I have posted in the Voting tier, for those of you who might be interested in knowing what it's about!
In this post I have also shared a FREE preview version of the PDF where you can read the first 3 parts of the tutorial for free (attached at the bottom of this post). Those parts goes into how to setup a simple gallery by making a gallery button, add a gallery image with it and how to unlock it inside the game after being viewed.
The full tutorial is in 13 parts and goes from the basics of how to make a simple gallery item, to how to make a replay gallery button that allows you to replay a scene of your game.
It goes into how to create a gallery screen, how to unlock gallery images based on custom conditions (like after pressing a button in the game for example) and how to make several pages of gallery buttons that can be navigated through.
There's also many other great tips and tricks in there too worth checking out if you're interested in making galleries in your visual novels!
