This one covers Cregan's return from The Whores, a stop in Northpoint before travelling onward to Sunspear.
He also reaches 20000 skill levels, meaning new Standard and Special Traits.

We did consider it, but in the end, for where we want to take the story, Price of Blood was needed. And Cregan's logic for taking it was hinted at when he thought on Alysanne's egg. Bestial Bonds doesn't, according to the description, offer any way to counter the issues that exist with skinchanging. It simply makes a connection easier and increases further the boosts Cregan gets from his bonded companions.
