I tested that and yes you are right! If you jump during a dialogue, Voms jumps but then stops moving! Good catch! We will fix that in the next Beta. For now, try not to jump during dialogues. To pass by the track operator, press C near the green circle. A bar should appear. Keep C pressed until the bar fills.

If you talk to any person in the beginning of the game (tutorial) using C button then you can jump with X while the dialog is still open, when you do that, then you cannot do anything when the dialog is finished, movement-keys and action-keys does nothing. Can someone please tell me how to get pass that truck operator (after the save point... I've tried pushing all the keys i could figure out and i can not get it to work. I did not have any problem with the girder in the beginning.
