We just changed the railings in our high rise rooftop to glass and love it. Despite the fact te glass is not pristinely clean, our views are MUCH better. Like windows, the glass -though better when just cleaned- is still better for views. Given that your house has so many windows, you will need to clean regularly, so why not just add in the railings? FYI, when we costed out options, glass is less expensive than metal. We were surprised, but not unhappy, because glass was our preference.
