Hey, y'all!

This accidentally became an animation week for me, which made me consider punching a hole through my door (but quickly changed my mind 'cause I can't be bothered to fix it).

Anyway, I did get a good amount of animations done, but they're gonna take a minute to render as they're at the very bottom of the queue. I'm pretty happy with how these turned out, but they also made me realize how dookie the early ones are. It's pretty fun seeing the progress, but also makes me cringe looking back at them, so I try not to look back too much and avoid turning the dev cycle into a dev circle by reworking that shit.

Oh! I also added a bunch of sound effects and songs to the scenes as I waited for the animation previews to finish rendering. Sound is prolly the thing I love and hate the most about development. Finding a banger of a song to use is a top-tier feeling, but the actual process of digging through all the tunes to find one you like is about as enjoyable as kissing a colony of fire ants.

That's it for my ramblings. The numbers are now up to 1,630 images and 30 animations.

So yeah, that’s about it for this week. I really can't drop any of the renders I made this week as a preview 'cause they'd spoil too much, so have some Alyssa butt and an early spooky render.
