Shiny Thong with VPL
Added 2026-01-28 19:15:00 +0000 UTCI got some pretty enthusiastic feedback about the last thong I made, so I'm back with another one!
I wanted to go for a different feel this time, something that feels more sensuous and sort of luxuriant, so I created a texture that resembles a smooth shiny fabric. I think it looks great in all kinds of angles and lighting.
The thong features a refined VPL shape with a bit more 3D detail than my standard shape. I also tried to shape the butt to make the back of the thong feel narrower and better "sandwiched" between the buttcheeks - something that's tough to do entirely accurately for technical reasons. I think the result has turned out pretty well, though.
The thong is available in 15 swatches - a range of metallics, muted tones and tropical colors - and can be found in both the Sleepwear and Swimwear subcategories. It's available for male sims and masculine-framed female sims.

CHANGELOG:
2026-01-26: Updated the mesh for better compatibility with my new accessory chaps. The fix stops the chaps texture from showing on the upper inner corners of the thighs (the comparison picture highlights the problem), as well as making tattoos/body hair display more correctly and consistently.
2024-07-27: Added style tags for use with turn-ons/turn-offs.

i admire how meticulous you are with your work! i am a perfectionist and even i struggle sometimes to identify whatβs different in the before and after, but once i see it im always impressed with your fix
