Patreon Update

Hey everyone,

As you've probably noticed, I haven't been able to get many updates out for this month. Although I said in October that this would be a slow month, I didn't intend for it to be this slow.

I've been working on some anatomy content, but it's taken longer than I expected or hoped it to take. I probably should have switched to some shorter, easier-to-complete projects along the way, but I fell into the trap of "just a few more days and this will be complete and ready to go".

The problem is, the longer the work went on, the more my anxiety started to creep in about what I've published this month. I probably should have paused my Patreon to work on this stuff, but I hoped I'd be able to work a bit quicker and still get some good updates out, and that didn't happen. To be honest, even coming to write this message has been pretty anxiety-inducing, because I hate to disappoint or admit I failed to do something I intended/tried to do.

Here's what comes next: I'm pausing my Patreon for December. This means that I'll continue to work, but you won't be charged for December. If you keep your pledge, you'll still be able to access my content. Hopefully, this way, nobody will feel like they paid for a month of content that they didn't receive - it'll just be published a month later than expected.

I currently hope to complete the projects I've been working on within December and that my Patreon will operate as normal from January. I'll re-assess near the end of December (just in case anything goes sideways).

I'm sorry that the udpates I expected to complete didn't happen, but I hope that pausing my Patreon and continuing to work and publish in December will offer everyone content that they're happy with and worth the value of their November pledges.

If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch!

All the best,
Simdulgence

As others have said, I'm more than happy to keep supporting your page even if we don't get updates every month. Feel free take your time and of course please take breaks and focus on yourself. Hope you're doing well :)

If you’re working on content to publish and it’s taking longer to complete, you shouldn’t pause your Patreon. That’s what we’re paying for.
