Simdulgence Status Update

Hi everyone,

In case you aren't already aware, I've paused my Patreon for October.

I started creating for TS4 with the best of intentions. I have had to take a break from modding/Patreon on a number of occasions, and I always feel guilty about this, like I'm not fulfilling a promise.

Since my mother passed away suddenly in 2020, I've experienced extreme depression and anxiety. It comes and goes; I can function normally for months, only to be hit out of nowhere by these feelings and struggle to function at all. When I paused a few months ago I was in a very positive place. Unfortunately in September these feelings re-surfaced and have made it really difficult for me to deal with a variety of things, including modding.

I'm posting this because I worry there are patrons who are fed up of my pauses, or frustrated with waiting for content. I apologize to anyone who is disappointed with another month on pause.

I hope to be able to return to modding soon, but it depends on my mental health. Please don't read this post as a 'goodbye' or me announcing a long-term break from modding! It's more of a "hey, here's why this is taking longer than I expected".
