Added 2021-05-16 18:38:32 +0000 UTCSimpleChests is (as you probably guessed) a collection of chest shapes for your male sims.
After SimpleBreasts, I wanted to update the male chests so I created a brand-new nipple mesh and texture that was similar to the SB style. In general, male nipples are less varied in size and style than female ones, so the SC nipples purposefully look more alike than the SB ones.
FEATURES & DETAILS:
1) SimpleChests are available in 8 shapes. There are three matching chest shapes with different nipples: Standard, Protruding, and Inverted. There are a further five unique chest shapes: Slender, Toned, Beefy, Bulky, and Solid.
2) There are 20 color overlays: ten in the Standard nipple size and ten in the Protruding nipple size. The thumbnails help differentiate which are which (the first ten are Standard, the second ten are Protruding).
3) There are SimpleChest texture overlays for a variety of uses: maybe your sim is wearing sheer clothing, or using a CC skin, or maybe you want them to sunbathe nude. The texture overlays let you add the SimpleChest textures on to your sim.
These is no 3D navel on the chests. This is to keep in line with the female bodies - the navel is on the male upper body but the female lower body (because their waists are in separate locations). Adding a navel to the female body would require overriding over 100 bottom clothing meshes, which is not a project I want to take on.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
Files included are separated by folder into required, recommended, and optional.

Contains all base SimpleChests, CAS default chest, color overlays, and texture overlays.
simdulgence_SimpleChests_AddonNoTexture (RECOMMENDED)
Lets your sim sunbathe with no odd tanlines while keeping the appearance of SimpleChests.

2022-06-25: Made chests unavailable for werewolves.
2022-05-21: Added the new Solid chest shape.
2021-08-17: Fixed an alignment issue with Protruding nipples, as well as corrected a problem that caused an extra nude chest to show up when undressing.
2021-08-12: Improved weight mapping to smooth the abdomen when sims bend forward.
2021-05-28: Converted the Slender, Toned, Beefy and Bulky shapes from RealChests.
2021-05-19: Enabled nipple color overlays for all correct ages.

I don't know what i have done wrong but when this mod is installed the nippels of torsos by other creators are all grey

2021-05-21 17:10:14 +0000 UTCAt first sight I missed the Real Chest presets. But in the end shaping the torso of a sim has always been up to me, and it has been done within a few minutes. Therefore, I don't really miss the RC presets. On second sight I realized, how kinky the new nipples are. They are really hot, I adore them! And as mentioned before, the naval looks perfect, no need to change. I myself removed the RealChest-mod today. Thanks for this mod!

2021-05-17 14:03:07 +0000 UTCThat's a great point re: other content. Even if I did want to override all the clothes to add a navel (which I don't really), there would be no compatibility with CC clothing from other creators. I think it's probably going to remain a default 2D navel, tbh.

2021-05-17 00:13:30 +0000 UTCThank you! My two cents: I barely notice 3d navels and it's not worth the insane amount of work overriding clothing. Better to just keep them as default and consistent, especially with new DLC coming out continuously. It's also not consistent with mod-added clothing and would probably cause navel mesh problems with clothing on opposite frames.
