I honestly thought it would be months before anyone gave a shit about the work I create but one hundred and sixty seven of you like my work enough to support me and take me on this journey of creating content for you guy's full time. To say I'm humbled doesn't even come close. I am truly grateful on every level and the comment's I've been getting from you guy's has been incredible.
Now I've been around since the beginning of VAM, I never spoke or shared anything, I just sat in the background reading and enjoying the content everyone was making, then the paywall stuff started happening.....Yes I was annoyed because everything was free and people made stuff for the good of the community and now people want to get paid for their work. So naturally I thought fuck you I'm not paying and I'm keeping all my work for myself.
Slowly I started to realise that the paywall content was actually very high quality work 'well some of it is' and that most of these people are roughly in the same industry I work in, and it makes sense that 3D modellers and animators would naturally find their way to VAM so I slowly began to think ''maybe people would enjoy my content, I do sit for hours and hours creating these texture's and what's the point in all that work if only I see them'' But I'd be a hypocrite starting a paywall after being annoyed for years about other people's paywall.
Then basically the global crisis happened and as a freelance 3D modeller I was the first to be out of work so my hand was forced. My clients barley had enough work to keep their business a float so I was first for the chopping block.
Honestly I'm kind of grateful in a way because this is one of the best things I've had happen to me, I get such a thrill from creating something, putting it out there and hearing all your feedback and telling me how much you enjoy it and I was right, what's the point in all this work if I only I get to enjoy it. I love all the comments good and bad (although it has been all good feedback so far) and I plan to continue this for a very long time. I have GB's of content so much so that I had to get a second SSD! Like I said I've had creator account on VAM since 1.3 so my folder of models and scenes is endless so expect plenty more to come, things need to be polished before being shared obviously as the game improves there are better things to add to completed scene's etc.
Now that being said, someone on here is leaking my PaidContent material to private discords that a small group of user's are taking without my consent. Not only is that spitting in my face but also in the face of all you too. So it's not only my but all of our duty to look out for the snakes and make sure that the content I make for you guy's stays with you guy's alone.
Their dream of a completely free marketplace is over, its has been for years and as VAM grows and become a huge platform more likewise 3D/animators professionals will come here and create studio quality content for everyone to enjoy, clearly that is the best thing to happen, but they think that professionals will sit for hours and hours on end creating stuff and just give their time away for free, and its just not going to happen I'm afraid!
Personally when you guy's pay me a very small fee a month you are paying someone with 20 years experience in photoshop and 3D modelling for a tiny amount. For that you get the level of work I've been sharing. Sounds like a barging to me.
Any way I'm truly grateful for all your support, I cant believe the growth I've had in such a short time and I plan on continuing sharing this content with you all for a long time to come. I have set up a private discord for us all to chat together as a community with no toxic Muppets acting cocky from across their keyboard and a place we can show and share what we are working on or would like to see in the future so I'll see you there.

Basic tools, my photoshop is about 10 years old it doesn't even have the 3D function, so when Im creating textures I have to save as-load vam-check position-photoshop-edit-save-as-load vam-check position. Its a nightmare but Im used to it now. I have decent modelling programme though as I use it for work.

Im not an animator but ive put countless hours into VAM so I know what it takes. My contribution to the community is that I support approximately 40+ artists which im happy to do in order to support those who put all that hard work in. Dont let the thieves and the snakes and the little mutts that complain get you down, they'll always be there. Your work has been noticed because its unique and extremely detailed and just plain fucking awesome👌. I look forward to waking up to see whats been put out while i got my z's. I hope those that steal and share your work doesn't impact you enough to become a problem. This kind of thing doesn't sit well with me, especially with the price of your Patreon being very reasonable. Being out of work during this time is tough. I'm a carer by profession and I'm in isolation looking after a family member who's fallen ill. VAM and VR in general has become my escape route. I'm glad this is working out for you. And hopefully, for us too! The main thing I get from your work is those damn fine textures. They add so much depth to any model I'm creating. I hope you continue with this. Can I also make a suggestion? Would it be possible for you to create decals and makeup options? I think this would greatly add to the creation. I wish you all the luck going forward with your Patreon!
