Poll: Which versions of RealGens do you use?
Added 2020-01-15 14:53:22 +0000 UTCI've had some feedback that the amount of files I provide for RealGens can be confusing, and sometimes wondered if my setup is the best way of doing it. I've been thinking recently about how I could reduce or simplify this.
I'm curious to know the answers to three questions:
1) Do you have the penises visible in CAS, or prefer them hidden?
I've always offered an option to see or hide the penises in CAS, because I thought users wouldn't want to scroll past sixty penises while picking clothing. Would you be annoyed if I took the option away and penises were always visible?
2) Do you use the RealGens default texture or CC-friendly version?
I could merge these variations by making the different textures into swatches. Users could pick swatch 1 or 2 for a default texture, 3 or 4 for a CC texture. This would make the list of parts in the Body Selector longer.
3) Are you interested in choosing which penis sizes/styles to install?
I could split the files up so you can install the sizes and styles you prefer. This could reduce the amount of penises in CAS/Body Selector. Would you be interested in a mix-and-match system to let you pick what you add to your game?
I want to get this feedback now, while I'm working on the vaginas, because if I change the penis file system I want to implement the vaginas in a consistent way.

2020-01-20 14:45:37 +0000 UTCIn game, the color overlays show up in 2 places depending on which version/s you install, the Left Dimple slot (in Skin Details) or the Brow Scar (requires Vampires or Get Famous). Based on where it stands now I intend to make the penises, vaginas, etc all visible by default from now on. Instead of a Visibility file, I should be able to make a Hider file so the users who want to not see parts in CAS can hide them. I'm not sure yet about the outcome of the other two questions - still thinking over how to approach those elements.
