Game 8 - Working Progress - Page 40 + 41

- This is the rough draft for pages forty and forty-one. What I wanted from these two pages was the main hero leaving the female characters dorm, as he's about to leave she give him a hug from behind. The reason why this sketch is only just stick figures is because I wanted this to be done as quick as possible.
- Then I got to work on using 3D to compose the models and set up all the 3D backgrounds. Afterwards I changes the panel layouts for both pages so I could fit the poses on these pages.
- Later on I got to work on adding all the fleshed out poses for both pages. For the large pose on page forty I changed the pose slightly by extending the arm. After changing the pose I roughed out the two poses for page forty-one, the poses had to be drawn separately so I can move them around with ease.
- After finishing them off I outlined each pose. For the top left panel on page forty I began adding halftone gradients and some shading.
- While I was adding the halftone gradients I wanted to try and recreate the white stippling I did from a previous page. So I pulled up a reference to see what I've done.
- After adding all the gradients I completed this page by adding a few more textures, speech bubbles and the LVL: 2 asset.
