Game 8 - Working Progress - Page 34 + 35

- These are the rough sketches for pages thirty-four and thirty-five. For these two pages I wanted the main hero to finally save his friend after all this fighting. After he lowers the cage he finds something in the rubble.
- I started with the backgrounds just so I could get all the angles and perspectives in a way I wanted. Afterwards I got to work on the simple poses for page thirty-five. For the rest of the poses for both pages, I mostly reused poses that I worked on before to use as a guide.
- These are the finished results after adding all the poses and outlining them. Then I added some background elements for the windows on page thirty-four.
- Later on I added all the faces for all the poses, then I added some textures and all the shading too. For the top panel of page thirty-four I wanted to recreate the abandoned classroom by using 3D backgrounds and a lot of image materials.
- After finishing everything I decided to do something for the bottom middle panel of page thirty-five. Then I got to work on adding all the speech bubbles, sound effects and simple animation work.
