Game 8 - Working Progress - Page 22 + 23

- These are the rough sketches for pages twenty-two and twenty-three. What I wanted out of these pages was the main hero to grab his pitchfork while keeping an eye on his enemy, but he ends up turning and realises that the original host for The Glitch is gone.
- For page twenty-three I started with a 3D backdrop with a 3D model, I did this so that I could get the right pose for when the main hero is kneeling, eventually I ended up swapping the legs during the detailing stage. For the rest of the poses I mostly hand drew all the poses for the rest of the panels.
- Afterwards I got around to inking both pages. For the top panel on page twenty-three I decided to save some time by cleaning up the detailed pose and convert the image to black and white.
- Then I got to add the gradients and the small details in both pages. What I started with was the backgrounds with adding small details like the rubble on the floor to the small specks of blood. Later I got to work on shading the main character and touching up the line art along the way.
- Straight after finishing these pages I added the speech balloons and the LVL: 2 asset for both pages.
