Game 7 - Working Progress - Page 37

- Here's the original rough draft for page thirty-seven. For this page I wanted to show the aftermath of the main character losing his arm cannon, then for the bottom panel I wanted him to walk half hazeredly into the arcade machine.

- This was what I started with, I started with the 3D assests such as poses and backgrounds, for the poses I had to use the same 3D layer for the background because it has its own layer where I can remove the backdrop but keep the pose. Afterwards I converted all the 3D assets into lineart, then I changed the outline and base colour to gray so that I could draw over the pose. 

- Here's the finished results after detailing and fleshing out the poses. 

- While I was finishing off the bottom panel I had a tough time oulining the top panel, so what I decided to do was converting the detailed sketch into black and white, then I cleaned up the pose enough so I can see which parts to outline.

- After completing the top panel I started to work on the lengthy animated segment for this page. What I did was I used a few 3D blocks for the shape, then I convered the 3D layer into outlines, after that I moved the same 3D block a little bit so I could create the animation I wanted. 

- This was the finished results for the outlines and the animated segment for this page. 

- Then what I did was I shaded and toned both poses, coloured all the frames for the animation, the background assets for the bottom and top panels, added the LVL: 2 for the top panel and changed the outlines for the top panel as well. After that I added the "TROT" sound effects.
